Prabhakaran’s house: Panic over monument or panic over misquote?

Privately-owned Sunday Mawbima and Thinakaran Varamanjari recently discussed the proposal to renovate former LTTE Leader Prabhakaran’s house in Valvettithurai, Jaffna. Sunday Mawbima criticised Valvettithurai UC Member Sivajilingam’s proposal to make use of the house as a monument, while Thinakaran Varamanjari criticised alleged attempts to misquote Sivajilingam regarding the renovation.
