On March 6, Al Jazeera English released an interview titled ‘Who is to blame for Sri Lanka’s crises?’ featuring former President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Mehdi Hasan. Opinion pieces in the Sinhala newspapers Divaina and Lankadeepa and Tamil newspapers Virakesari, Thamilan and Thinakaran presented contrasting coverage on the interview.
