Protest opposing the PTA in Colombo
On June 10, a protest was held near the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo opposing the decision to remand Tamil musician Ganesh Kumar Sangeethan (HipHop Sangee). The protesters called for the protection of freedom of expression and raised concerns over the use of the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA).
