Context: When questioned about the assets of NPP MPs during a political discussion on TV Derana, Minister Sunil Handunnetti responded by stating, “If the one who helps is willing to give, and the receiver is willing to accept, is it paan (bread) to the others (what’s it to the others)?”

Context: The meme depicts Daisy Forrest Wickramasinghe, a relative of the Rajapaksas, who was implicated in a money laundering case with Yoshitha Rajapaksa, the second son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa. The Rajapaksas claimed that the money in question was sourced through a bag of gems handed over by someone to Wickramasinghe.
