Chemmani mass grave: Through social media narratives

The Sinhala and Tamil social media spaces presented two distinct narratives regarding the Chemmani mass grave. The Sinhala social media commentary tended to redirect the discourse from Chemmani to other past atrocities, including those committed by the LTTE in Aranthalawa, Eravur and Kebithigollewa. By contrast, the Tamil social media commentary demanded justice and directed blame towards the state and the military.
