Election outcome through the state press

Following the Local Government (LG) election, editorials and opinion pieces in the state-owned Sinhala newspaper Dinamina and state-owned Tamil newspaper Thinakaran discussed the outcome of the election. While Dinamina focused on the Opposition’s losses, Thinakaran focused on the government’s gains.
